I received bad news from one of my colleagues last night. It was about a colleague of ours had lost her husband because of stroke. It was a really shocking news because as I received the news, an image of the little boy whom occasionally followed her to school came flashing in my mind. He is still very young and yet he lost his daddy already. T~T..and I know how devastated it would be for the mother to lose her husband.
Today we went to pay a visit to the decease's house at Menggatal. Luckily the house was not hard to locate. When we arrived, I was saddened by the surrounding. Our colleague was not there at that moment. We went to pay the last respect for the deceased and pray. When she came, we hugged her and told her to be strong. She said she will be strong and in fact was stronger when she saw us coming to give her support. She then told us the incident how the deadly stroke took the life of her hubby within 24 hours and without giving any symptoms. Her husband was only 47 years old. It terrifies me. (please click here for more info on stroke)
We were saddened also to see her three children. The eldest one is just a primary 3 student (9 years old), the middle daughter is slightly younger and the small boy (whom sometimes followed her mom to school) is only 4 years old, and he still doesn't understand a thing. He didn't know that her dad had gone for good. Sedihnya.....can you imagine how tough it will be to deal with the situation? Thank God that our colleague was strong enough to deal with it, and we will continue supporting her and pray for her.
The funeral mass will be held tomorrow. Condolence to teacher Juliana Francis Onong and her families. May her husband's soul Rest In Peace. God bless teacher Juliana and her three little children. May they be strong. Amen.
As for ourselves, never neglect our own health. Remind our love ones to take good care of their health.
